2021 Recap | Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer
Well guys, another year of ups and downs, but we made it! Things may have looked a little different, but there was no shortage of gorgeous photo opportunities! It may have been much more low key than normal, but I was able to experience some thing that have been on my list of goals as a Grand Rapids wedding photographer for a while now! James & Katie started the year off right, with a tiny wedding ceremony!
I had the incredible opportunity to work with a very talented set of vendors for the cover of the Wedding Day magazine 2021 spring/summer issue!
Taylor saw me at her friend Emily’s wedding and wanted some engagement photos at the beach!
I normally love perfect sunshiney days, but Sam and Tara’s engagement session was cloudy and gorgeous!
In the summer, Heather and I decided to get some new headshots, so we each planned a whole day and traded!
Devon and Kelsey live in Utah, but we squeezed in an engagement session while they were home for Garret & Kallie’s wedding…
…which was such a perfect day! Kallie just glowed!
Travis & Kaitlin welcomed this absolute angel of a baby into the world!
At the end of July, I joined Heather up north for a wedding in Mackinaw City, so of course we had to get a nighttime shot with the Mighty Mac!
Another wedding with Heather lead us to this fairytale wedding at Stone Gate Manor!
An absolute highlight of my year was this stunning wedding that I assisted for Allie Siarto!
Liz & Colin were a dream couple! It was scorching hot but they kept each other laughing all day long!
Next up is another incredible wedding for Allie Siarto at Meadow Brook Hall!
On what was supposed to be my only weekend off in a while, Olivia Anderson was in a pinch the morning of Janelle & Jordan’s wedding, so I was able to fill in for her!
Another highlight of an amazing year was this insanely magical engagement session with Jessica and Chad!
This dress was made for twirling while I was assisting Monika Anderson at Loft 310!
A little rain didn’t stop these two at this wedding I photographed for Elizabeth Berghuis at The Union at Railside!
Claudia & Geoff popped the champagne to celebrate at this wedding with Allie Siarto!
I headed over to Hawk Hollow with Heather for this perfect fall wedding!
Then it was time for my own family’s annual portrait!
Back at the Union at Railside with Monika Anderson, Meghan & James had a perfect day!
Kate and Jason’s engagement session gave us quite a surprise! Not only were the colors at their peak, check out this post for some photo-bombers!
Later that day, I met up with the absolutely adorable Adam and Ani!
Ben & Taylor are having their reception this spring, but wanted a quick portrait with their dogs for Christmas cards!
In a rare instance, I met up with Haley & Ben and their adorable baby!
Katie & Ryan finally celebrated their wedding with a reception at the JW Marriott!
It took a couple of reschedules, but the weather was just perfect for my last session of the year!
