Remember that run a couple of years ago where I had a whole. bunch. of cousins. get. married? I really thought I was done for a while, when surprise! A cousin from the OTHER side of my family got engaged! So of course I jumped in to help her out for this St. Sebastian Catholic Church and Red Shed wedding!
Did you see this recent post where I mentioned I no longer photograph barn weddings? Well, Alysse & Cody are country people through and through, so another exception was made! It also didn’t hurt that their church is incredibly photogenic! (As well as the bride & groom, I guess 😉) It even ended up being one of my favorites from last year!
Alysse is a very simple and low-key girl, so the vibes she chose were perfect!
It was a freaking hot hot hot day, but the guys were super chill 😎
Alysse had a sweet first look with her son!
And somehow Cody had an even sweeter first look with Alysse’s daughter 😭
Honestly if I had a photo like this of my two grandmas…it’d be my favorite!
I loved that the priest called up Alysse’s children for a blessing as well, just before the first kiss!
It’s so rare for the ceremony site to have good areas for portraits, but St. Sebastian has a TON of gorgeous windows and archways inside!
And the outside is incredible too!
We then headed off to the reception for a few more portraits before some raindrops rolled in!
SWOON.
Alysse’s younger brother looked like a million bucks so we had to get some headshots for his dating profile 😉
I thought this guest was pretty handsome, so I had to steal him for a dance 😻
One final kiss as the skies started to open!
We partied hard and honestly, I had an absolute blast! Thanks for checking out Alysse & Cody’s St. Sebastian Catholic Church and Red Shed wedding! Make sure to follow Jessie Silva on Facebook and Instagram!
Have fun!
