Baker Lofts Holland Spring Wedding | Sam & Tara

If you didn’t see last week’s blog post, go do that now to prepare for today’s massive Baker Lofts Holland spring wedding!! Sam & Tara’s day is going to be full of more familiar faces. Sam is another one of my many cousins getting married in the recent months! I mentioned in their engagement post that Tara has been in our family for what seems like forever, so we were all more than ready to celebrate with these two to make it official!!

The girls started off getting ready at First Byron CRC, and we had to use this gorgeous stained glass window to show off the dresses!

Meanwhile, Sam and his guys got ready at home!

Tara’s mom helped her get dressed. After that we did a first look with the bridesmaids! Tara started off all smiles…

…but when the girls started to ooh and aah over her…

…Tara got overwhelmed with emotion!

And then they helped put the finishing touches on!

Next up was a first look with Tara’s dad and brother. Her dad was already crying as we walked him into the room!

And to save the best for last – the first look between Sam & Tara!

Holmdene Gardens at Aquinas was a gorgeous setting for all their portraits!

Tara really wanted a flying shot of Sam, and I knew this group would be perfect for it!!

During planning, Sam kept joking about wearing his hat for portraits, and Tara was adamantly against it. Well Sam is quite the jokester, so during portraits, one of his groomsmen quietly snuck it on his head!

It was on for a good five minutes before Tara finally noticed!

Tara’s dress had a perfect twirl to it…and Sam couldn’t resist joining in!

We had to wait around a bit for the party bus to show up. I’m SO glad it was late, because then I wouldn’t have gotten this perfect dip!!

We then headed back to the church to start the ceremony!

The party bus was a full on celebration on the way to the reception!

I had to get a shot with my Haley!! And Luke, Sam’s younger brother, who is just starting out and already a fantastic videographer!

At one point, Sam’s older brother Adam got up and grabbed Sam’s face and I really wish I knew what this conversation was because it looked adorable, hilarious, and heart-warming all at the same time!

Finally it was time to party at Baker Lofts in Holland!

Adam and Luke gave a speech and pulled out a list of everything to warn Tara about Sam…they didn’t have time to go over it all 😹

Another cameo of meeeee with my niece and nephew (and my stud of a husband), who played a flower girl and the ring bearer!

Tara’s dad held her train so they could dance. It was so precious! 🥺

This photo of the bouquet toss is like a work of art, but tells a very sad story 😹 #partyfoul

The newlyweds exited to sparklers! They whisked away to their happily ever after!!
