Grand Rapids Michigan Wedding Photographer | 2023 Recap
Hard to believe its 2024 already, but here we are! Every year that goes by, I feel more and more lucky to be dealing with my absolute dream clients as a Grand Rapids wedding photographer! It was a year full of so many different types of weddings, but perfect for each couple I worked with!
First off, my brother-in-law had a sweet intimate elopement ceremony at Indiana University!
Next up, I got to see a past client, Mandy & Dylan, and welcome another bundle of joy for them!
The first engagement session for my 2024, I joined Rae and Joe at Tunnel Park in Holland!
Shortly after celebrating their wedding, Sam & Tara had another reason to celebrate!
Matt & Elissa had an incredible spring wedding at MSU!
When your bestie gets pregnant, you convince her to have a tiny backyard maternity session, even if she doesn’t want one!
I don’t do many family sessions, but when your boss’ wife asks, you say yes! Also if your family is as put together as this one, that’s also a big yes!
I headed over to the east side of Michigan to celebrate with Mike & Christina!
A few pics up, the bestie who didn’t want a session? Turns out the practice one made her want a real one!
Aaaannd then I needed models for a styled session, and they were available again!
Sam & Tara welcomed a beautiful baby girl!
Christian and Nicholas absolutely rocked their downtown engagement session!
Emily and Bo drove from Ohio, so I met them in Ann Arbor for a classy session at U of M!
Kimberly & Suporn spent their entire day laughing and smiling together!
Since I had to miss Will & Kayla’s wedding (stupid Covid!) I offered them an anniversary session, so we headed up to the always gorgeous Rosy Mound!
This has been the third time I photographed the Schwartz family, and the kids just get cuter and cuter!
My past bride Gina opened up the cutest little bookstore, right in downtown Byron Center! You HAVE to check out Rolling Rabbit Books!
You wouldn’t believe the year Jimmy & Anessa had, but it didn’t stop them from looking on the bright side all day long for their wedding!
A yearly tradition – an updated portrait of my own family! (Gosh that bearded dude gets more and more handsome!)
Liz and Kevin had their engagement session at the beautiful W.K. Kellogg Manor house!
All those maternity sessions up there? Well, the little bundle finally came! (And I get a new model!)
Joellen and Bryan are *so* adorable together!
I trekked down to Kansas to not only photograph Jason & Melissa’s wedding, but also stand as a groomsmaid!
Yet another repeat client this year! (Seriously it warms my heart so much!) Kaitlin & Travis welcomed their second child this year!
A coworker of mine asked me to photograph her twins’ senior sessions – how could I say no?
When I do bridal shows, I always leave a with a short-list of must-have dream clients. It took some work, but I finally connected with Britney and Jess for their amazing downtown engagement session!
This one…oh man, THIS is going to be one heck of a wedding for me. My childhood neighbor, basically my little brother, is getting married to the SWEETEST bride!
And finally, rounding out the year, Christian & Nicholas partied it up this past Friday at New Vintage Place! These two are through and through a vibe 🔥
