St. Peter Catholic Church and Ivy House Wedding | Rae & Joe
If you aren’t aware by now, Ivy House is one of my very favorite venues in West Michigan. In fact, I’m even a preferred vendor there! So when Rae told me that’s where her reception was, of course I was excited! But it got even better, because they were having a Catholic Mass ceremony as well! My own wedding was a Catholic Mass, so it always makes me happy when I get to photograph one! Between the locations, the spring flowers starting to bloom, and an adorable couple ready to have some fun, this St. Peter Catholic Church and Ivy House wedding is full of new favorite images!
Rae’s details were nothing short of traditional, classic, perfection 😻

Rae wore her mother’s wedding dress! I almost let it slip to Joe at our final consult but apparently I wasn’t the only one, and he was still utterly clueless!
Her mom and her sister could barely hold themselves together one we got Rae all dressed! So sweet!
Meanwhile Joe was having a great time with his guys!

Let’s take a second for the wedding party! The bridesmaids attire was SO stunning!
At the church, the trees were absolutely insane, so it was the perfect backdrop for family portraits!
Ceremony time! It was, of course, beautiful!
I always love catching the couple checking out their new bling right afterwards!
When I first met with Rae & Joe, they told me the most important thing was to celebrate with all their friends and family. They made it evident throughout their day by honoring their family traditions, like this cake topper used by generations before!
Finally it was time to party! The guests really knew how to throw down!
I was able to steal them for a few nighttime photos, and the Ivy House has SO many great spots for them!
