Cedar Crest Engagement | Ashley and Cody

Today’s blog post is a throwback to before I lived in Michigan, for this sunny Cedar Crest engagement session! My husband and I have been back home for 5 years now, and not at any point have we regretted it! But that’s not to negate the handful of pretty Kansas sessions I got to have! This one with Ashlea and Cody always comes to mind! We went to the Governor’s Mansion in Topeka, and with it’s rolling hills and fence-lined drive, it was a gorgeous setting! Topped with an absolutely incredible sunny day, this session just always screams “spring” to me!

The house is set up on a hill, so the field overlooks a beautiful wooded area! I had a wedding here once in October, and the colors were breathtaking!

There’s nothing quite like a tree-lined driveway for perfect portraits!

Halfway through their wedding plans, they decided to elope in Vegas! So I’m glad we could do an engagement session for them!

They nailed the dip-kiss!
