Today’s throwback post features Sean & Casleah at this adorable sunflower field love session! Waaay back in 2014 when I moved to Kansas, I tried to dive head first into the photography community there, and I heard about this incredible sunflower farm! I had to check it out for myself, and it was truly unbelievable! Since photographers are suckers for wildflowers and sunflowers, I HAD to have a session here! I knew I also had to move fast, as the sunflowers were only at peak bloom for a couple of weeks. I first met Sean & Casleah when we all worked at Craig’s Cruisers. Luckily, they were also living in Kansas at the time! I sent Casleah a message to see if she was interested and a week later we headed out on a gorgeous September evening to get these images!
when I have couples that want their furbabies involved in their photos! So for this week’s blog, I’ve gathered up some tips and tricks on how to include your pets in your engagement session!
Today’s Pinnacle Center summer wedding was a breath of fresh air in 2020! The stars all seemed to align for Jake & Colbie that day. It happened between spikes when restrictions relaxed a little bit, and the weather was exactly what you’d want for a beautiful June wedding! Not only are these two the sweetest couple ever, but their families were all so loving and fun! It was definitely one of those weddings that encompass the phrase “two become one”, because you can tell Jake & Colbie will have an amazing support system behind their marriage!
I’m shocked it took me this long to post today’s Oak Valley Vineyards wedding in Texas from a few years ago! This wedding was extra super mega special to me for a few reasons. First off, I love traveling for sessions and weddings. The biggest reason, though, is because it was my best friend’s wedding! Not only was I lucky enough to photograph this amazing day, I also pulled double-duty as Matron of Honor! As a photographer, sometimes it’s fun to be able to go to a wedding and enjoy myself as a guest. For this wedding, however, there was NO WAY I wasn’t going to capture Leann as a gorgeous bride! It really allowed me to get up close and personal when I might not have been able to otherwise.
There is no doubt about it, everyone wants their wedding to look and feel magical! One of my favorite ways to do this is to incorporate sparklers during your reception exit! While you may think it’s as easy as “light sparklers, run through” there are a few more things you should think about. So for today’s post, here are 5 tips for having a sparkler send-off at your wedding!
My husband once described my photos as “where it’s all about the bride and the groom is just a prop.” But let’s face it, put a group of guys together dressed in sharp suits, it’s pretty hard to ignore! A few weeks ago I shared my list of items for brides to remember on the morning of their wedding, and this week, it’s the guys’ turn! It won’t be as heavy, but here is my Groom details checklist!
