Next up on the wedding blogs from 2019 is Nick & Kara’s rustic Scheltema Barn wedding! As I pulled up to the venue that morning, we were threatened by dark clouds and rain. With the ceremony happening outside, that always ends up putting a bit of extra stress on the couple! However for these two, they were just so happy to be getting married I don’t think I saw it bother them at all! Such a sweet and easy-going couple, they were ready to celebrate the best day of their lives!
In last week’s blog post, I mentioned how since the rebrand, I’ve really honed in on my perfect ideal clients, and Katie and Ryan are definitely included in that! During their snowy Aquinas College engagement session, it was clear to see that they loved to snuggle up and be goofy with each other! Even during our consultation we talked about Mexican food and Parks and Rec…so it was an instant click for me with them haha!
October usually means stunning fall colors and even more beautiful weddings! Even with daily changing mandates, I am SO excited to celebrate this weekend with Tim and Emily! Take a look at their Provin Trails adorable winter engagement session and you’ll see why I’m so excited!
I have repeatedly said in the past that I would die for my brides. That’s how special all of my wedding couples are to me! The fact that you trust me with your most important day is not lost on me one single bit. Every once in a while though, a certain wedding or couple will stand out just a little bit above the rest, like Robert & Katie’s English Hills Terrace retro wedding.
I am SO excited to share Jeannie & Isaiah’s Grand Rapids Public Museum & Planetarium wedding today!! Actually, I’ve been excited about this couple since the moment Jeannie walked up to my booth at the bridal show and asked if I was comfortable taking on a planetarium wedding! Ever since I was a kid I have always loved the stars, planets, and night sky, so capturing a wedding underneath a giant moon was absolutely a dream for me! I knew it would be a challenge but I got to work right away researching how I could best capture the dark sky and the couple! I am just so thrilled with how the day went. Not only was the venue just amazing, Jeannie & Isaiah had so many unique and personal touches throughout the day!
Continuing on my catch up of weddings, today I am featuring Brian & Valerie’s Holland Church of Christ & Barn at Stanton Crossing wedding! Check out their engagement session for the full – and fast! – story of how we met! So just a few short months after meeting with the couple, they were ready to say I do! It was a chilly March day but the sun was shining, which always makes me happy!
