Today’s blog is looking back to the beginning of 2021, at James and Katie’s intimate Byron Center wedding! James proposed to Katie just a few months prior, and were hoping to have a destination wedding in Hawaii. Things were so up in the air though, they didn’t want to deal with any changes. They decided not to wait any longer, and had just their immediate family members attend a small ceremony and dinner! The best thing about weddings is whether they are small and intimate, or large and wild, the love and emotion always takes center stage 💜
The day started off with a First Look and some happy tears!
It was February and everything was snow-covered and gorgeous!
The sun even came out for a bit! (Gosh I wish that would happen now!)
Everyone braved the cold for some quick family photos!
Finally it was ceremony time, and the happy tears started immediately!
They had their day in the clubhouse of their development, so during the ceremony we could smell the DELICIOUS barbecue James’ dad was cooking!
Meanwhile, the timing was perfect for some glorious sunset photos 💜
Thanks for checking out James and Katie’s intimate Byron Center wedding! I tell this to my brides who are getting stressed about things: all you need for a wedding is the two of you and someone to officiate. Anything else is just gravy! This beautiful little wedding is absolute proof of that! Whether you’re planning an elopement or the party of the century, make sure to follow Jessie Silva on Facebook and Instagram to have the best time either way!
Have fun!
