The Bluff Banquet Center Fall Wedding | Ashlee & Bill
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve definitely become one of those people who tries to avoid their birthdays. So when Ashlee & Bill contacted me about photographing their Bluff Banquet Center fall wedding, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my birthday! Photographing a gorgeous bride during a Michigan fall, AND she has a long veil? It just doesn’t get any better than that! Plus I still get cake at the end of the day haha!
The girls started off getting ready at Ashlee’s parents’ home near the church!
If you want to add an extra edge to your getting ready photos, get matching robes or pajama’s for your crew! So cute and comfy, and it makes a great gift they can use time and time again!
Ashlee and her mom are very close, so they wanted to have a special moment together of just the two of them getting Ashlee into her wedding gown.
This made for the perfect opportunity for a reveal with her bridesmaids!
Meanwhile the guys were getting ready at the church!
Another great gift idea was Bill’s customized Yeti coolers!
They didn’t want to see each other before the wedding, but they did want to pray together before walking down the aisle <3
On the way to the reception, we stopped at a nice wooded area for all of their portraits to capture the Michigan colors!

Ashlee is just freaking stunning…
After spending an hour at a public park and hanging out on the party bus, well…nature called, so we hit the Meijer so everyone could use the bathroom lol!
We got to the reception and the sunset that night was PERFECT!
If you have the opportunity to try a dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes, you will NOT regret it!
