I am so excited to share Tim & Lora’s St Mary’s Visitation Catholic wedding in Byron Center for a few reasons!! First, because it was beautiful, of course! Second, this is my church where I grew up!! I love when I get to photograph here 🙂
Tim & Lora both claimed to not be “photo people”. Well that right there is a big green flag for me! In my experience, any time I’ve heard that, the couple has been AMAZING in front of the lens! Tim & Lora were no exception! They opted not to have any getting ready photos taken, so we started with a first look once they got to the church. From that point on, they were all smiles!
Just look at how they look at each other!
Lora made an absolutely stunning bride!
Behind the church was an awesome view of the rolling fields and peeking color!
It’s just a small parish in a tiny farm community but it sure does show off <3
For it being October, the day was actually pretty warm, but the clouds rolled in and out, creating some dramatic skies for their portraits!
I love when both parents walk their daughter down the aisle!
Love this image of Tim’s daughter looking on <3
I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a couple smile at each other SO MUCH during the ceremony as these two did!
They wanted to hit up a few of their local haunts, so they rented a New Salem Corn Maze bus to drive around in after the ceremony!
First stop was the Countryside Inn, just down the road from the church!
Next we stopped at Bunker Hill for a bit!
Finally it was time to party!
Lora had this awesome groom’s cake made for her new husband!
During their first dance, they had Tim’s daughter join as well <3
Once the dancing started, it didn’t stop! The floor was full and people had a blast showing off their moves!
I hope you enjoyed reliving Tim & Lora’s St Mary’s Visitation Catholic wedding in Byron Center as much as I enjoyed capturing it! By the way, are you following Schu’s Shoots Photography on Instagram and Facebook yet??
