As promised, if you follow Jessie Silva on Facebook and Instagram, you probably saw, voted, and shared about my 2024 contest. Well now it’s time to announce the winners! It was a close race, which honestly was the best part. One of my favorite parts of weddings is seeing everyone get all dressed up to come out and celebrate YOU. To see that continue on social media is so great! Without further adieu, the winners with the most likes are the stars of today’s blog post, Britney & Jess! They just got married this past October in a super sweet Revel Center fall wedding, but I figured as an extra prize, I’d blog their day early!
When I blogged their engagement session, I mentioned how they are just my favorite type of couple. And gosh, that rings even more true after their wedding day! When I showed up, one of them had asked if it was weird they were so excited to see me! Personally, I don’t think it’s weird because I’m just as excited! I really mean it when I say I want you to feel like I’m your bestie showing up to capture the best day of your life!! Anyway, that’s enough of me talking about how much I freaking love these two, so uh, enjoy their wedding photos!
They hung out together before getting their dresses on, and the morning was full of adorable moments, like this one of Jess doing Britney’s nails for her!
They played Rock Paper Scissors to determine who got dressed first 😹
Time for the First Look!
Poor Jess had a very hard time holding it together 😹
SO. FREAKIN. SWEET.
Since they both knew they’d be sobbing messes, they decided to read their vows to each other privately.
Then they had a First Look with all their people 💜
The fall colors were absolutely poppin’ for them!
For the ceremony, I loved that they decided to walk down the aisle together!
For their unity ceremony, they decided to propagate a plant. (Is that the right term? I have a black thumb and a collection of dead bonsai trees in my house 😅)
Their friend Martial played a huge role in their decor by sourcing tons of antique amber glassware!
Their ceremony backdrop made for the perfect spot to place their neon name sign, and turned into a makeshift photo booth at the end of the night!
It ended up raining after their ceremony, so instead of sunset portraits, we got to play around with the water feature on the upstairs level of the Revel Center!
This was such a fairytale kind of day! It was one of those days where you could really feel the love and support surrounding these two. It’s always so special to witness!
Thanks for checking out Jess & Britney’s super sweet Revel Center fall wedding! And thanks to everyone who participated in the contest – let’s keep it going! If you know of someone who recently got engaged, do them a favor and share my name with them! I’d love to be a part of your fairytale!
Have fun!
