Rustic Scheltema Barn Wedding | Nick & Kara

Next up on the wedding blogs from 2019 is Nick & Kara’s rustic Scheltema Barn wedding! As I pulled up to the venue that morning, we were threatened by dark clouds and rain. With the ceremony happening outside, that always ends up putting a bit of extra stress on the couple! However for these two, they were just so happy to be getting married I don’t think I saw it bother them at all! Such a sweet and easy-going couple, they were ready to celebrate the best day of their lives!

The girls got ready in the loft of the barn, and Kara’s gorgeous lace dress fit her perfectly!

Meanwhile the guys were having their own fun in the basement of the barn.

Nick & Kara knew if they didn’t see each other before the ceremony, they’d be blubbering throughout the whole thing, so they opted for a private first look!

They also handwrote vows to each other, which they read during the first look! The tears were definitely flowing!

Kara’s ladies wore these incredible gowns from Kleinfeld’s! They added the perfect touch of class!

Remember the threat of rain from earlier? The sun shone during most of their ceremony!

With the flora arbor and the water feature behind them, they had the most picturesque ceremony site!

Party Time!!

The dance floor was full and hoppin’ all night long!

Of course I couldn’t resist finishing out the night with a nighttime twinkle light image!!
