Oval Beach Summer Engagement | Sam and Jenna

One of my favorite memories as a kid is every Saturday after Mass, my family would go out to dinner. And when I say “my family” I mean my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Sometimes there were only 6 of us, and sometimes there were 18 of us. We have always been a weird family because, well, we like each other! My point is to say the star of today’s blog post is my gorgeous cousin Jenna!! Except she’s my second cousin? First cousin once removed? I’m not sure, but it doesn’t really matter – she’s my cousin! (Suddenly I understand how my husband feels with his “everyone that’s older than me is an aunt/uncle” policy….) Anyway, once I heard she was engaged, we headed out for her and her fiancé Sam’s Oval Beach summer engagement session! Her aunt/my cousin also tagged along because she is also a very talented photographer!

Their session was at the end of July, so a beach session with a beautiful sunset was a must!

She showed up in this adorable striped romper that really accentuated how long and lean she is! (Her dad and all her siblings are all over 6′ tall!)

Let’s talk about the perfect breeze that came by!

After snuggling in the dune grass, she changed into this super cute little sundress – perfect for twirling!

I melt! ????

Sam definitely knows how lucky he is! (And Jenna’s pretty lucky too!)

One last outfit change and I was able to coax them into getting into the water!

I mean seriously – she’s stunning!

It was a gorgeous evening!
