Since I had a small hiatus from blogging for a bit there, I never finished sharing my 2020 weddings! So today’s post features Samantha & Matt’s Meadows at Millennium Park intimate wedding! Since this was in November of 2020, we went through about 3 different plans. It was such a stressful time for my couples, which I HATED. Luckily, I was able to talk it through with Samantha as plans changed even within a month of their date, and we found the perfect option for them.
The wedding party started the day by getting ready at the Amway Grand downtown.
Pro-tip: having everyone getting ready at the same location allows for more ease to get both sides!
Due to all the restrictions, we had to find an outdoor venue. We decided on the Grant Pavilion at the Meadows at Millennium Park!
It was the end of November, so it was cold and windy, but at least the sun was on our backs!
Can we talk about Samantha’s fabulous dress for a second? The all-over lace and winged sleeves was such a boho vibe!
Since it was a small wedding at a park, their dogs got to make an appearance!
This is one of my favorites because I said “Ok, now look at each other” and the dog obeyed!!
A short, small, but beautiful ceremony!
After the ceremony, they went off to celebrate with their families at dinner! It just goes to show that even with plans changing multiple times, a ton of roadblocks, and a lot of flexibility, all you really need to have a gorgeous day is each other 💜
