Classic Big Rapids Wedding | Mandy & Dylan
Next up in my blog recap is Mandy & Dylan’s classic Big Rapids wedding! I had such a great time walking around with them for their downtown Grand Rapids spring engagement session, I knew their wedding was going to be awesome!
The day started out with Mandy getting ready at her parent’s house, with her mom and her best friend. Having just the three of them made for a nice calming environment to enjoy the morning! Meanwhile, Dylan and his best man were hanging out at a nearby brewery to relax!
The rain threatened us in the morning, but stayed away for all the portraits, and even allowed for a really cool, misty sunset!
Sometimes getting ready pictures can be difficult due to clutter in the room or small spaces, but Mandy’s parents had such a great home, even the dining room made a perfect spot for details!
Bride pro-tip: get a dress that has pockets!!
She also wanted to do a first look with her dad, and it was just precious!
Raven Brewing had the best vibe for the guys to just hang out and relax before the wedding!
The rain left everything soggy and wet, but the front porch was a perfect spot for Mandy & Dylan’s first look!
The ceremony was at St. Paul Catholic church in Big Rapids, and they had recently refinished this gorgeous back deck area!
Have I ever mentioned how much I love veils?! Just look at how gorgeous Mandy is!

The reception took place at the Holiday Inn & Conference Center in Big Rapids, and is right next to the Katke Golf course, which made for a perfect photo spot!
Then we were ready to kick off the party!
Mandy’s Maid of Honor left us all in tears!
They had a cute little cake for them to cut, and tons of delicious treats for their guests!
