Rosy Mound Natural Area Engagement Session | Kelly and Darren

I have been looking forward to this weekend’s wedding, so let’s find out why while looking back at Kelly and Darren’s Rosy Mound Natural Area engagement session!

I first met Kelly way back at the beginning of last year – when she was the maid of honor at Kaitlin & Travis’ wedding! I was SO excited when she contacted me. A referral is the BEST review I could get as a wedding photographer! First off, Kaitlin & Travis liked me enough to not talk Kelly out of booking me (haha)! Second, since Kelly was a member of the wedding party, she saw how I worked and decided she could handle me on her wedding day too!

Kelly tried to warn me that her and Darren weren’t “camera people”. Well, my camera determined that was a LIE! She started out in this GORGEOUS off-the-shoulder dress!

Kelly was giving me major “Reese Witherspoon” vibes!

Oh, and they NAILED the dip!!

Plus the wind was blowing so perfectly on the beach!

Seriously, they are TOO sweet!

“Camera people” or not…as long as you can laugh at yourself and each other, you’re the ideal couple for me!

(Yes, we had to climb up and down and back up all those stairs!)
