Cozy Fall Engagement at Grand Ravines | Jordan and Jewell

Jordan and Jewell get married this weekend and I am SO EXCITED!!! I know it’s going to be the most gorgeous day ever!! Soooo it’s time to recap their cozy fall engagement at Grand Ravines from this past November!!

I first met these beautiful ladies at the Fall Bridal Show of West Michigan. You’ll notice that I’ve met the majority of my couples at these bridal shows! It’s a great way to meet with a bunch of vendors at once! You can plan out your whole day! I will be at the next show on September 6 and 7, so be sure to stop by and tell your engaged friends to check it out!!

Anyway, they came into my booth and I promptly put my foot in my mouth by asking if they were sisters! They said no, and I said they resembled each other and must be related in SOME way! Luckily, they had a sense of humor about it. Jewell said “we’re not related yet!” They won my free engagement session giveaway, and we had so much fun that they decided to book me for their wedding! Bonus points: they brought along their adorable pups!! (Seriously, pets are always welcome at my sessions!!)

They are just so cute together, they had no problem with all the snuggling I made them do!!

It was November, but there was still plenty of color showing off at Grand Ravines for us!

Basically the most easy-going couple ever. They didn’t mind when I a) asked Jordan if we could sit on her scarf and b) asked them to lay down on the ground!

Their dogs were pretty rowdy when they joined us out but OH MY GOSH! LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE!!!

After they changed, we found this GORGEOUS leaf-covered path. It matched Jewell’s outfit perfectly!

While these wheat patches always make for a gorgeous background, the couple made for an even better foreground!

Excuse me, I get to shoot two pretty dresses and two stunning diamonds?? YES PLEASE!
