Holland Civic Center Fall Wedding | Max & Zoe
Last year’s wedding trends were working out the final complications from *that time* we’re trying to forget about. With 2022 and 2023 being full of triple-wedding weekends and hot summer days, I think 2024 brides wanted to get away from that. That’s how I ended up with TWO November weddings! I don’t think that’s ever happened in my 18 years as a photographer! But looking back on Max & Zoe’s Holland Civic Center fall wedding, it was a picture-perfect day!
When I met up with them for their engagement session, I thought they were just a sweet, quiet couple who had a calming demeanor together. But WOW – when these two got together with their people, they LIT UP! It was so heart-warming to see these two just come alive when surrounded by all their loved ones! Zoe started the day off with her girls at a nearby AirBNB.
Beginning of November? It looked and felt more like the beginning of October!

I loved the glass architecture of the Holland Civic Center!
I love working with videographers, and this is a prime example why. Autumn with Little Shutterbug Studios had the BEST ideas! This was one super fun and we got great reactions. Count to 3 and strike a pose!
This one was also 100% Autumn’s idea and it’s one of my favorites from the day <3
UGH. I hate saying goodbye to summer but oooh that glowy fall golden light!
First a room flip, then it’s time to party!
A photo blitz with the guests will always create great moments!
The floor was packed all night!
Since our portrait time was scheduled during sunset, that gave us extra options for some nighttime portraits!
