It has certainly been a crazy year to say the least! But I am SO excited to finally get back to shooting weddings! Colbie and Jake are getting married this weekend so it’s time to share their Grand Ravines October engagement session! We almost postponed this session due to impending rain and dark clouds (you know how I love my sunshine!) but we decided to give it a try anyway and see how far into the session we’d get before we got wet. I am SO glad we didn’t try to reschedule because I had an AWESOME time with these two! They are so cute and bubbly – the best kind of couple! Not only were they great at getting close, we also spotted one of the eagles that likes to frequent the park! See if you can spot it in one of the images below!
Of course the covered bridge makes for a perfect background!
It was about at this point that I was so happy we chose not to reschedule! Look how cute Colbie is!
Is it even fall if you don’t snuggle up in a plaid scarf?
Sorry that the majority of my blog posts consist of “Awww!” But seriously….awww!!
Can you spot the eagle in this one??
I love Grand Ravines because it has the river, the path, the covered bridge, and so many fields!!
Since they announced their engagement in October, they brought along this cute little pumpkin with their wedding date!
These wheat fields are like my favorite thing to play in. It makes everything look so dreamy!
Thanks so much for checking out Colbie and Jake’s Grand Ravines October engagement session! I can’t wait to celebrate with them this weekend at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville! Make sure you follow Jessie Silva on Facebook and Instagram to get the first sneak peeks!
