Gina & Zach claimed they were “camera-shy” at their engagement session. They rocked it, so I knew their Frederick Meijer Garden summer wedding would be a breeze, but instead they went straight to MODEL STATUS. In fact, their entire day was uncharacteristically perfect for a wedding. I was training an assistant, and I had to reassure her that weddings don’t normally go so flawlessly! With a stunning couple, emotional ceremony, and perfect lighting all day, I had to pinch myself a few times!
The Pretty Committee brought their A game!
Gina embraced her model status!
The bridesmaids teared up at their gorgeous friend!
Meanwhile Zach and the guys got ready downstairs.
The lush rooftop garden made for a sweet first look!
😭😭😭
I’m sure they were magazine models in a previous life.
Zach and his guys had a bond over video games, and getting photos with the cactus was an inside joke – so I had to deliver!
Before the ceremony, Gina did a first look with her dad!
Hey, it’s me!
Debating on having a first look? I promise seeing each other before does NOT take away any emotion during the ceremony!!
The sunshine, the canopy of trees, and the pond in the background were so stunning!
The ceremony was also in front of a waterfall, which made everything more magical!
Time to party! The wedding party walked in with light sabers, and each couple had a battle while coming in!
Each of their guests could make a little Lego version of themselves!
The Chihuly made for a stunning backdrop!
We ended the evening with portraits in the Conservatory!
