Downtown Engagement at Sixth Street Park | Scott and Karin

It’s that time of year! Everyone is busy with preparing and parties and celebrating. And what better party to celebrate than a WEDDING! Scott and Karin get married this weekend, so it’s time to share their downtown engagement at Sixth Street Park! A few months ago I shared this New Years wedding at New Vintage Place, and that same week, Scott and Karin contacted me about THEIR New Years wedding at New Vintage Place! It’s a great venue with tons of amazing options, so I was really excited, but once I talked to them more about their day, it was clear I HAD to work with them! They have so many fun and unique touches to their day! But I’ll save those for their wedding post 😉 Scroll through to see their adorable engagement session!

It was an absolutely gorgeous October day!

Depsite having been born and raised in the Grand Rapids area, I’m not sure if I have ever actually seen the fish ladder before?? So when we wandered down to it per Scott’s request, I glad to see it was a great spot!

Scott texted me on their way to the session letting me know he had a few surprises for Karin to help make their session extra fun, like pulling out a frisbee!

They both love the 6th Street Bridge, so Scott had another surprise for Karin – an engraved lock to attach to the bridge!

A few photos with their Beetle was a must!

We squeezed out every drop of sunlight at the end of their session, and they nailed it!
