I don’t know how I got so lucky this year. Every single one of my couples have been absolutely amazing. First off, just look at their engagement session! All of my weddings this year so far are setting a higher and higher bar! Allison & Trevor’s Old Stonegate Farms rustic barn wedding was no exception!
A wedding held near the end of May in Michigan can be a gamble, but in this case, it paid off! It ended up being perfectly warm that day, and while the rain clouds threatened us in the morning, I was relieved to see their outdoor ceremony being set up when I arrived! Not only that, but the grounds were SO gorgeous everywhere we turned – from the adorable house where everyone got ready, to the beautiful barn, to the field with super unique hops poles! That’s not to mention how amazing the wedding party looked! Everyone was so sweet the moment I walked in the door, this was definitely one of those weddings where I felt like family by the end of the night!
To start her day, Trevor wrote Allison a special letter in this notebook, with an assortment of meaningful gifts! He made us all laugh and cry as she read it!
Can we talk about how sweet this image of Allison’s mother is?!
The walk from the house to the ceremony site was long, and it was clear Allison couldn’t WAIT to get down the aisle to Trevor!
Trevor could barely hold his emotions in once he saw his glowing bride 🙂
I absolutely love it when couples share Communion during their ceremony! It sets such a wonderful tone to their marriage <3
Pumped to be a husband!
Thanks to these two lovebirds, I have probably the best marriage license photo ever ????
Allison wanted to recreate an old photo like this from her parents’ wedding!
Trevor’s groomsmen all bought him a Yeti cooler as a present. Of course they loaded it for the wedding day!
Hmm…who knows any marketers for Yeti?! #models
After the photos, the newlyweds couldn’t wait to finally celebrate with their friends and family!
And while we’re here – how gorgeous is the back of Allison’s dress!!
This was a new one for me – Trevor had a little help getting the garter!!
This handmade quilt is a special gift from one of their guests…how amazing is that?!
We went out for a few sunset photos of just the two of them…
…and here is where all involved are grateful photos don’t have audio ????
