I am SO excited for this weekend’s wedding. Ok, let’s be real, I’m always excited for wedding weekends! But this weekend is special because it’s featuring a couple of old friends from when I worked at Craig’s Cruisers! It’s always fun being able to photograph weddings of people I know, but I had no idea that Pat and Michelle were basically professional models! I met with them last October for their country chic fall engagement session! We opted for a sunrise session, and it was the day after a wedding, which means I was double-dead. Well, Pat and Michelle woke me right up and got me jumping and screaming at way-too-early-o’clock!
We headed out to Prairie Wolf park, and even though I had already shot there a handful of times in the month alone, I found so many new spots and angles to work with! Pat and Michelle made it INCREDIBLY easy. Basically two adorable lovebirds who don’t mind to snuggle – yeah, I can work with that 🙂 Plus the light was GORGEOUS and the color was at it’s peak! It really doesn’t get any better than this!
Check out their images to see why I was jumping and screaming (and probably scaring some wildlife away)!
They were brave enough to stand near this branch-cave thing that very clearly sounded like there was a creature or two inside!
I have so many favorites from this session. They are just TOO adorable together!
Michelle knew how to work that wind in the hair!
And look at how they nail the Dip!
This instantly became a new favorite – snuggling in a field!
I mean, just look at these two… <3
Thanks so much for taking a look at this gorgeous country chic fall engagement session! Be sure to follow my Facebook page so you can catch a sneak preview of their wedding this weekend!
