Elegant CityFlatsHotel Wedding | Joellen & Bryan

After a VERY busy spring, I am taking a little summer hiatus on sessions, so that gives me a chance to catch up on some blog posts! Today I’m looking back at Joellen & Bryan‘s elegant CityFlatsHotel wedding from last year! When we first scheduled their engagement session, I ended up having to push it back because I came down with a crud of some kind. Well, my immune system was determined to make up for it, because I was definitely a walking zombie for their wedding day! Thank goodness for lots of drugs, and my incredible assistant!

Joellen & Bryan are a very quiet and understated couple, but their heart shines through in everything they do. They planned a perfectly elegant wedding, with so many little touches that was all about their guests! Yes, your day is about you, but when you make it a point to celebrate WITH your guests, it adds an entirely different level of joy! Scroll through to see how kind and gorgeous these two are!

Bryan’s guys helped make sure he looked perfect for his bride!

While Joellen and Bryan did not see each other before the wedding, she did want to do a first look with her dad and brother. Tears from everyone!

It was a warm summer day, and the bride and groom wanted everyone to be comfortable – so we did most of their portraits inside the beautiful ballroom!

Since it was Father’s Day weekend, Joellen got gifts for some of the important dads in her life! Go Blue!
