Colorful Downtown Grand Rapids Engagement | Britney and Jess
OH BOY do I have many things to say about the stars of today’s colorful downtown Grand Rapids engagement session! I mentioned a few weeks ago how at the bridal shows, there are some standouts that I really connect with. Britney and Jess were shining examples of this. I don’t remember what we talked about, but I knew I HAD to have them! The feeling was definitely mutual – OR SO I THOUGHT. The next day, on my way to a wedding, I was so excited that I sent them a video message to set up a consultation. And then….nothing. I sent a follow-up or two with no reply. *sigh* I had to let them go…
…until the following week at a different bridal show! I was talking to another bride, when I turned around to grab an album, and saw THESE two flipping through them! I shouted “YOU! Do NOT LEAVE YET.” Sorry to the bride I was currently talking to, and sorry not sorry to Britney and Jess for yelling 😹 We nailed down a consultation date right then and there and the rest is history! We discussed a few different downtown spots, but decided the area around the Children’s Museum was perfect for them!
These two were so adorable and easy together and just kept each other giggling the whole time!
They brought me a Diet Coke to the session – how could I not immediately fall in love with them?!
They were technically only supposed to get a 30 minute session buuuut I couldn’t help it but go way over time!
Britney was super excited to use her Mustang in some of the photos, and I happily obliged!
The Veteran’s Memorial park right there gave us some beautiful fall colors too!
