I met up with Emily and Bo for their classy Ann Arbor engagement session almost a year ago, and now it’s time for them to get married this weekend! And I am SO excited to once again return to the incredible Ivy House! Not only is it gorgeous in any weather, there’s always a new spot to use for portraits! Plus their “venue coordinators” are like NONE I’ve ever worked with before! It’s so great to know when you’ve got a super strong team working together to help make our couples’ dreams come true!
When planning their session, Emily and Bo wanted something architectural and classy, so we decided that the University of Michigan campus fit perfectly! We started outside the striking Angell Hall.
The steps leading up to these grand columns absolutely fit the vibe these two were looking for!
Emily and Bo claimed they weren’t “PDA” or “touchy-feely” so I had to break out of my comfort zone and not default to “smush in close”. I did, however, get them to squeeze in for one of my favorite romantic close-ups!
As we continued, we passed the Museum of Art with this super cool window wall!
This is one of my faaaavorites 😻
Once we made it to the Law Quad, they wanted to switch it up and go a little more casual. Bo had seen photos of the Nickels Arcade online and thought it’d be perfect for a few photos!
Thanks for checking out Emily and Bo’s classy Ann Arbor engagement session! Make sure to follow Jessie Silva on Facebook and Instagram for their sneak peek this weekend!
Have fun!
