I know I paused on blogging for a bit which means I got even further behind. But FINALLY, I have been WAITING to share Dan & Hannah’s Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox & Industry Indianapolis wedding from 2020!! They were going to have some plan changes, but they had it right in the middle of relaxed restrictions, so everything went off beautifully. As soon as I got home, I knew it was full of new favorites! Scroll through their day and it’s easy to see why!
Hannah and her ladies started off getting ready at home.
This one just has the feel of a renaissance painting to me for some reason haha!
They had their first look at the gorgeous Coxhall Gardens!
The weather was perfect and so were they 😻
Super studly gentlemen, right?? Studly, sure. But they all watched me back directly into a cement sculpture while taking this 😹
I loved that the girls had the same dress but could all be tied in different ways!
Did I mention Hannah wore a stunning veil too?!
I had never photographed an Orthodox wedding before, so luckily I was able to go to the rehearsal and get the scoop. It’s a beautiful ceremony full of tradition and symbolism!
The couple starts off together in the back of the church.
Many prayers are said. They also bless and exchange the rings during this point.
Did I mention how jaw-dropping this church is?!
Crowns are also blessed and placed on each other during the ceremony.
But of course the First Kiss at the end is still present!
After the ceremony, it was time to celebrate!
Of course I did have to sneak them outside for some quick sunset photos!
Their party was an absolute rager! Somehow I was able to convince them to stand in for one quick nighttime shot!
Thanks for checking out Dan & Hannah’s Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox & Industry Indianapolis wedding! I hope you can see why it immediately became a new favorite of mine! 😻 Don’t forget to follow Jessie Silva on Facebook and Instagram for next week’s blog!
Have fun!
