Adrienne’s mom and mine have always been good friends, so her entire family has always been around in my life. So it was no surprise that when Adrienne got engaged, we both had our eyes on each other! There was no way I was going to miss this Michigan wedding in the country! Adrienne and Joe got married at a Catholic church half a mile away from my home growing up on a gloriously cloudy day. Her mom has always been an artist, and it was clear Adrienne got some artistic talent as well, as she had so many beautiful spots picked out for portraits throughout the day!
The ceremony was at the beautiful St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Byron Center, Michigan.
Adrienne’s parents sang together before the ceremony!
When Joe saw his beautiful bride, he couldn’t help but tear up 🙂
Adrienne had envisioned this photo for her wedding, and the dramatic clouds all day definitely helped make this image!
This industrial area in Caledonia made for some awesome backdrops!
We then headed to the party at the Holy Family Catholic Church hall!
I took the newlyweds outside for 10 minutes as the sun set – always worth it!!
Adrienne recently got a job as an elementary school teacher, so Joe went for the garter to Van Halen’s “Hot for Teacher”!
Cameo of my parents dancing 🙂
And at the end of the night, we let the sparks fly!
