WOW! Guys, looking back through 2018 as a Grand Rapids Michigan wedding photographer, I am SO excited to see where 2019 takes me! (Also am I allowed to admit that I have to use that clunky language to appease Skynet and the Google gods? Is that ok?) It started off on the right note and only went up from there! I had an absolutely incredible list of clients this year. Each one of them were a dream come true in their own way! I got to cross off some bucket-list items and gained so many amazing new images – and FRIENDS!!

Family sessions are rare for me, but I was so excited to capture the love of this adorable growing family in a lifestyle home session!
Kaitlin & Travis started the year off right, with their gorgeous rustic Bissell Tree House Wedding!
In February, I felt the need to shoot, so I went to frozen Lake Michigan with this loving couple to warm up!
In April, I celebrated at the Weaver House at Pine Bend with Donn & Aleta who found a second chance at love 🙂
With spring blooming, it was the perfect time for Jim and Mckenna’s engagement session at Robinette’s!
I took Mandy and Dylan for a walk downtown Grand Rapids for their engagement session!
Old Stone Gate Farms had some amazing backdrops for Allison & Trevor’s rustic barn wedding in May!
Pat & Michelle…oh man, they left me speechless!!
In the middle of wedding season, my beautiful niece turned 2! So of course we had to have a photo session 🙂
Samantha and James added some fun to their downtown engagement session by stopping at Vault of Midnight for some photos!
Katie was one of my bridesmaids, and I was SO sad that I couldn’t make her wedding. When she asked me to do a bridal boudoir session for her, I couldn’t say no!
Then her sister wanted some maternity photos with her second baby!
I was beside myself excited when Kaitlin’s sister Kelly asked me to be her wedding photographer! We headed out to Rosy Mound Natural Area for their engagement session!

My gorgeous cousin Haley is finally a senior, so for round 1 of her session, we headed out to the beach!
Kelly & Brad had a fairytale wedding at Castle Farms!
The middle of August brought me back to Virginia for a brief vacation! I caught up with this adorable family!
And speaking of adorable families, I HAD to make time to see this one!
After a whirlwind east-coast trip, I was so looking forward to Jim & Mckenna’s wedding at Robinette’s!

Trevor & Jaycee had an amazing party at the Grand Rapids Public Museum!
This was a special wedding for me – I was able to shoot a wedding at my own church at St. Mary’s Visitation!
For Haley’s senior session round 2, we chased some fall color at Grand Ravines Dog Park!
In the middle of the craziest part of wedding season, I had to squeeze in time for my own family!
I finished out wedding season in Kansas, for my dear friends Megan & Phil! Of course I had to sneak a few pre-wedding photos in!
It was a gorgeous October day, and with Megan’s incredible custom dress, it was a dream come true!
Jewell and Jordan were the lucky winners of my free engagement session at the Grand Rapids Bridal Show, but I was the real lucky one! Look at how adorable they are!
I couldn’t say no for a quick Christmas card update for the two cutest kids in the world!
And rounding out my year, Haley’s senior session round 3! She wanted some photos with her boyfriend for Christmas, and they were so much fun!!
I can not wait to head into 2019 for another amazing year as a Grand Rapids Michigan wedding photographer!!
